The Nurse from Romeo and Juliet is the wise advice giver to Juliet. She is Juliet's nurse and a friend to her especially when Juliet is going through the struggle of young love. She is basically the comic-relief for the morbid story. Juliet's nurse is an older, yet wiser role to the play. She is an older lady but not old enough to be considered an elder. She continues to be a Nurse to Juliet until Juliet kills herself.
Nurse is part of the Capulet family. This family consists of Lady Capulet, Lord Capulet, Benvolio, Mercutio, Friar Laurence, and Juliet.
- Some people question the means of the Nurse's actions. Did she do it with Juliet's best interest in mind? Or did she just want Juliet gone? There are many controversies about her actions
- She actually tells Juliet to forget Romeo and just marry Paris instead to save the trouble
