2016 PHS Football RECAP
by: Andrew Wilson, Sports Reporter
There were many ups and downs of this football season for the guys at Plattsburg High School. The Tigers, this year, went 3-6 this regular season with wins against Lincoln Prep, West Platte, and North Platte. While the win-loss record isn’t great, many stellar achievements were made. They had a HUGE game against North Platte. The whole Plattsburg football team ran for over 500 rushing yards. In high school football, that is amazing!
All in all, the Plattsburg football team had a decent season! Last Friday, the Tigers won game one of Districts against West Platte with a score of 44-14!! Keep up the good work in the playoffs! The Tigers play again this Friday vs. Wellington-Napoleon in Wellington, MO. Good luck Tigers!!
