MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
We are also building toward our hallmark celebration - graduation. Because we believe that graduation readiness really begins in kindergarten, we are very excited to do our Grad Walk on June 8. Grad Walk gives our seniors the ability to go back to their elementary and middle school, in cap and gown, and participate in graduation celebrations with our younger students. Teachers at the younger levels also get to reconnect with their former students and celebrate their successes and upcoming plans. It really is a positive and emotional celebration in our district.
The graduation ceremony returns to its traditional time slot June 11 at 9:30 a.m. in the Tacoma Dome. The is a community-wide celebration of the class of 2023. No tickets are needed to enter, but there is a cost for parking. I have always been amazed that people who don't have students in the graduating class still attend the celebration in support of students and our community. Please join us for the pomp and circumstance.

We want to help every family be ready for school. Registration is the first step!
