Mrs. Shaffer’s STEM Update
Hello! We’ve had a great start to our coding unit during the last two weeks. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders were off and running learning about sequencing, looping, and using conditionals in programming. We will also dive into some digital citizenship lessons next week using the Nearpod app. If your child is in grades 3-5, please have them download that app from Self-Service on their iPads.
For K-2 students, I have seen a few entries in Seesaw from the Bitmoji Classroom activities. Keep it up! Those have been fun for me to see. We will continue in this way for the next two weeks, and then I will switch which grade levels I see. Until then, students may continue to code at home on their at-home learning days.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Mrs. Shaffer
