Principal's Report
A Weekly Update from Perkiomen Valley Middle School East
A Word From Dr. Clune
Dear PV East Parents,
We had an AMAZING Activity Night last night! There was a very large turn out of 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders. Many thanks to our parent chaperones as well as the East Home & School Association for organizing this event and making it FREE for everyone.
We also extended lunch on Friday and enjoyed playing lawn games and socializing.
If you haven't heard already, our upcoming musical is 'Matilda'. This a large production that requires a lot of coordination to make the magic happen. If your child intends to be part of the cast or crew (There are no cuts. Everybody is in.) please attend one of the MANDATORY parent meeting. More information below.
The Instgram club is sharing information. Other clubs have updates. Please check out our Activities page on our website. You can email the advisor of any club listed.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter. We maintain a very active social media presence.
Sincerely,
Seamus Clune, Ph.D.

Monday: Mindful Monday: Being kind and respectful to everyone is a way to prevent bullying. Please wear a shirt with a positive quote.
Tuesday: Talk About It Tuesday! Bullying can be a tough topic to discuss; especially if you are being bullied. If you or someone you know is being bullied, please tell a trusted adult. Please dress like a trusted adult who you feel comfortable talking about bullying with. This could be a Teacher, Parent, School Counselor, Coach or Principal etc.
Wednesday: We Are Wednesday! We are in this together! We all must do our part together to prevent bullying from occurring. Please wear a team shirt or jersey to show that we are a team.
Thursday: Orange is the national color for bullying prevention week. Please wear orange PV gear to show support against bullying.
Friday: Bullying can lead to lower self-esteem, depression, and poor performance in school. No one should be made to feel inferior or afraid to be themselves. Be comfortable with yourself and wear comfy clothes!
