Notes from the Principal

Dear Parents,


As we approach the beginning of February, we are glad to see everyone getting back to their school routines. So far, we have been fortunate as the weather has been pretty mild! It is still winter, so remember to pack gloves, a hat, and snow pants for recess as the temperatures allow.


The instructional staff at Patterson have been hard at work completing and analyzing data from the winter assessments. The results have been positive, and I am very proud of the amount of progress that our students have shown. Iready parent reports are being sent home. Let me know if you have any questions.

Fancy Pants Dance

Team Patterson is hosting a family dance on February 10, 2023 from 5:30-7:30 P.M.


Holly Girls Basketball Youth Clinic

Free clinic for girls between 4th and 8th grade who are interested in learning the skills and game of basketball.


Ski Club

The Ski Club meets on Tuesday at Mt. Holly for fun in the snow. If your child wants to participate, join the Facebook page “Holly Ski Club” for more details.


Friday, February 3rd is a half day.

Whiz Bang Popcorn is available each Friday. Popcorn will be sold for $.50 per bag. Your child can purchase as many bags as they'd like. It's lightly buttered, salted and tastes great!

Volunteer Background Forms

You will need to provide a copy of your driver's license. This form is used for anyone wanting to volunteer in a class or to chaperone a field trip. Please allow four weeks to process. This must be completed every school year.

Many students are coming to the office to borrow chromebooks. We have a very limited number of loaners so please check with your child(ren) prior to leaving home.
