A-Gl Student of the Week
The student of the week is Cameron Donahue nominated by Mrs. Longoria.
Cameron is a responsible, intelligent, polite, and generous young man. Once he finished his project, he was kind enough to help students who were having issues with their project. He helped them understand how to use the technology required for the project. He did it all with a smile on his face. – Louisa Longoria
Go-O Student of the Week
The student of the week is Blake Johnson nominated by Mrs. Miller.
Blake is ALWAYS doing the right thing, even when there is no one to hold him accountable. He is always respectful to teachers and peers and is willing to help other students. He works hard in class and is truly a model of what it means to be Fair and Responsible.

P-Z Student of the Week
The student of the week is Thomas Womack nominated by Pauline Pruitt and Guy Chalhoub.
"Students were taking a test in math, and a student was present who had been absent a couple of days. Thomas offered his notes to the student (on an open notes test!) rather than use them himself. What a selfless act of kindness!."- Mrs. Pruitt and Mr. Chalhoub
What to expect this week.
- Front doors will open at 7:15am. First bell rings at 8:15am. when students arrive on campus, they will go to the Gym, until they are released to class.
- Students who arrive after the 8:15am bell, will receive a Tardy. Unless they have arrived to school on a late bus.
- Order your Valentine's Day Candy Gram (form below or in the front office - Last day Feb 4th)

2022 FULSHEAR CHARGER BASEBALL Buddy Program Information
Do you want to be a Charger Colt and “buddy up” with a Varsity player this season?
Please click on the square link and google doc form below to register. Both items MUST be completed in order to register to be a part of the Charger Colt Program.
*Participants must be in the 2nd-6th grades
*Reserved for the first 50 to register
*Deadline to register is Friday, Feb 4th

•Think for a moment about the amazing staff at Leaman. Who is working hard for students? Nominate a teacher or staff member that you would like to recognize for their hard work in the Be the One survey.
•Each week the results will be gathered. They will then be shared with staff members during Tuesday department meetings or Wednesday staff meetings.

Leaman Junior High School is sharing the below information about the district and your child’s campus with you as part of its obligations under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA).
Federal Report Cards for the state, the district, and each of the district’s campuses are now available on the district’s website at this link: https://www.lcisd.org/departments/academics/raa/performance-reports-and-legal-postings or are also available on the Texas Education Agency’s website at: https://tea.texas.gov/finance-and-grants/grants/essa-program/federal-report-card. A detailed description of these reports is enclosed.
If you have difficulty accessing the information from the website, hard copies of the reports can be requested from the district or campus office. This past week, every student received their NEW Smart Tag.

- Excused doctor's notes must be received within FIVE days of the absence
