Division Operators

  • Regular Division rounds the decimal portion if assigned to an integer. This is the most familiar type of division.
  • Integer Division cuts off the decimal portion and returns to the integer.
  • Modulus Division returns the remainder resulting from the division.

Subtraction -

10-4=6

Multiplication *

2*2=4

Division /

16/4=4

Integer Division /

12/4=3

Modulus Mod

19 Mod 5=4
