Enews boys basketball
Special thanks to ENEWS reporters, Tanner Bahora and Derek Guyer, for the PHS Boys Basketball preview!
CCR3 Sets High Technology Goals
CCR3 would like to extend a huge thank you to the Education Foundation and to several private donors for their support of our Technology Department. The Education Foundation recently purchased twenty five new Chromebook computers for the district. Kindergarten-4th graders at Ellis have access to classroom IPads. The current student to computer ratio in the high school and middle school is 2:1. It is the district's goal for 2016-17 that grades 5-12 will reach a 1:1 ratio. To make a donation to the technology department or to learn more information about the district's technology plan, please contact our Technology Director, Brandon Burns, at brandon.burns@ccr3.k12.mo.us.
Reader's Theater
Mrs. Moran's 3rd grade students rehearse for their reader's theater!
Learning about Indian Tribes
5th graders show off their Indian projects. Students were to research an Indian tribe and make a project that represented their tribe's lifestyle.
Basketball Tourney Time!
CCMS hosted a two day basketball tournament last week. Many area schools participated in the tournament. Thanks to the coaches and CCR3 staff for their hard work.
ELLIS + COMMUNITY
Ellis counselor, Mrs. Thomas, and her 2nd grade students made special Christmas trees to share with our local Plattsburg nursing home patients. GREAT WORK, TIGERS!
DID YOU KNOW?
- SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING BREAK WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY THIS WEEK.
- Our OPAA! food provider received a special honor from the First Lady, Michelle Obama, last week. We received a Bronze Award in the Healthier US School Challenge. As a winner of the Bronze Award, our school goes above and beyond the minimum requirements to help our students live full and active lifestyles.
- Please download our new communication APP, Schoolway, to learn first about any school closings due to inclement weather. Tis the Season!
- CCMS student ambassadors sold turkey feathers last week. Each teacher received their own turkey. Students could buy turkey feathers to add to their favorite "turkey teacher." All proceeds will be donated to the local food pantry.
- TROOPS 4 TIGERS collect thousands of items to send overseas to our military this holiday season! Thank you to all who donated!
BREAKFAST IS SERVED!
Don't forget the most important meal of the day. Our district has excellent breakfast available to students. On Tuesdays and Thursdays students can purchase smoothies at the PHS cafeteria. YUM!
