April 20, 2018
Dear Willink Families,
Could it be that we will see the sun this weekend and have warmer temperatures? With the warmer temperatures, students enjoy walking home from school. Please remember if your child is walking home they will need a note from you to get a walking pass. All notes should be turned into your child's house office.
Yesterday was our 3rd PBIS Assembly for the year; Family Feud. 140 students grades 6 - 8 participated while their classmates cheered them on from the audience! A great time had by all! Check out the pictures and videos on our Twitter Feed.
The 6th Grade only event, “ Neon Night” sponsored by Student Council is next Friday, April 27th from 7:30-9 in the cafetorium. Students can wear their favorite neon outfit under the black lights while they enjoy the DJ, open gym, and refreshments. Glow wear will be on sale. Ticket are available for $5 during lunches Monday 4/23 through Friday 4/27. It’s going to be a great time for our 6th graders!
The Student Run Play is taking place again this year on Friday, May 4th and Saturday, May 5th here at Willink. This year's production, Trouble in Paradise Junction, is directed by some of our 8th grade students and the cast includes actors from grades 6-8. It's going to be a fun show! Tickets are on sale now! See the attached flyer for more information.
Have a great weekend!
Jim
