Principal's Message
Teachers are in the process of meeting with parents for their Fall Conferences. We have completed the beginning of the year assessments and have important information to share with you about your child. Thank you for taking the time to meet with your teacher. It is important that we all work together to celebrate the successes of our children and look at potential growth opportunities as well.
If you have already met with your child’s teacher, that is wonderful and we appreciate you!
Parents ask what is the best thing they can do to help support their child. Our best response is to read with your child every night for 20-30 minutes. If your child is able to read to you, have them read, but if not, developing the love for reading is easily to do by incorporating this into your daily routine with your children. I know times are very busy and demanding right now, but you will be creating special memories and quality time spent with your children as well.
We also have some wonderful on line resources the kids can access at home: Dreambox, Education Galaxy, and Raz Kids. Your children know their logins.
Hope you enjoy the weekend,
Megan Burnham
