After our kick off event in August our program will run September - April. The kids will also get an opportunity to tour all the above facilities and learn what it takes to work for these companies one day.
This program is available at NO COST to the kids and/or their parents. Also, their is NO GPA requirement, as it doesn't take money or straight A's to be a leader - just character and a passion!

Update on Brittany Eakin, the Sparkman Jr who was recently diagnosed with cancer:
She is being released from the hospital and moving to her home away from home. It may be months before she is back in the Harvest area. Can we rally some support for her? Her address is: Brittany Eakin, room 2005, c/o Tri Delta Place 350 North Third St. Memphis, TN 38105. Can we send her some mail to encourage her? This is a simple way to let her know we are thinking about her and praying for her. When she starts her radiation, she will be moving to the Ronald McDonald House.
Sparkman Family, please keep Sparkman junior, Brittany Eakin and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Tuesday night a baseball-sized, cancerous tumor was discovered on her brain & she was immediately taken to LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis where doctors were able to remove the mass. Brittany has a long road to recovery ahead of her. Please share & ask everyone to continue to pray for this family.
If you can assist the family financially, please do so at Brittany's "Go Fund Me" Page(link below). All funds will be used to help pay for daily expenses, medical bills, and trips to St Jude's for follow up treatment. Go Fund Me Link: http://www.gofundme.com/pfbvr8
Dear Sparkman Family,
On April 9, 2015, two of our Sparkman Middle School students lost their home and all of their belongings to fire. They are also now in the custody of their 19 year old sister. A Go fund Me account has been set up to raise money to help these students replace some of the items that they lost in the fire. http://www.gofundme.com/rk7p8s
If you would like to donate clothing, food, or other items in lieu of money, or if you would like to help in some other way, please message me and I will send you the specifics on sizes and items needed. Thank you so much!
Please forward this information to anyone who may want to help.
Sincerely,
Jennifer H. Whitt
