It has been a great week here at Westlake!! We really appreciate all the special guest readers, friends and families that have come in to read to our students during "March Reading Month". It has been fun seeing everyone dress up this week for the our Spirit Days.

We hope everyone has a great Spring Break and can find time to relax and rest with family and friends. Safe travels for anyone traveling this next week. We look forward to warmer weather and look forward to seeing everyone back here after the break!!

"March is Reading Month" Dress Up Week

Students had lots of fun dress up days this week including Hat Day, Jersey Day, Wacky Day, Pajama Day and Purple & White Day!!!

I hope everyone had a great week!! I hope everyone has a great Spring Break and can find time to relax and rest. We look forword to seeing everyone back after break and we can't wait to hear Spring Break stories.

Lunch Money Deposits

We now have a Lunch Deposit Box right outside the cafeteria doors. Students can start to deposit their lunch money right into the box. Make sure all deposits are in an sealed envelope with the students name, teacher, amount of deposit and labeled "lunch money". If your student needs an envelope, they can stop into the office.

PTA News!

We will be sending a new self portrait home in Friday Folders. We realized due to the snow days and the alligator assembly, that we may not have had the right amount of time to get our best work in that we could do. So we are making that up and new portrait that you can choose from will be going home prior to Spring Break, on or before Friday March 24. Orders will now be due on Friday April 7.

Westlake PTA Bingo ~ Whether you are going on vacation or doing a stay-cation play some bingo while you are on break. Each bingo you make will earn you a prize!! If you cross off every square you get a grand prize of lunch with Mrs. Lamb! No cheating, be honest with the activities, and have FUN!!!! Sheets must be turned in by WEDNESDAY APRIL 5!
