NEPCA
Northeast Pennsylvania Counseling Association
Get involved!
If you are interested in becoming more than an active member with NEPCA, consider taking on a leadership position for the upcoming school year! We are currently seeking interested members to take on a variety of leadership roles to continue building and developing our professional organization!
Why?
School Counselors develop their professional behavior through membership in their professional organization, continuing education, networking with peers, and attendance at workshops and conferences. Professionalism means staying current, up-to-date, on literature, trends, skills/knowledge, and research needed to best serve your students.
NEPCA is a one-stop-shop for all of these opportunities. Participating in the professional community at this level will reflect the attitude and behavior of a "Distinguished" School Counselor as assessed by the new evaluation tool. It is important to advocate for our profession, collaborate, and engage with one another to assist in the development of comprehensive school counseling programs across our region. If you have a voice, we have a position for you!
