The Tiger's Roar
October 2022
Orange Grove Families,
I wanted to let you know how proud I am of our students, staff, and families. OGCS is outperforming the state, district, and other schools in our area on the state standardized tests. While the official school report card has not been released, scores are accessible through www.schooldigger.com. Our results are summarized here if you’d like to take a closer look: 21-22 OGCS Standardized Test Scores Results.
Our elementary is ranked 7th out of 625 in the state and our middle is 11th out of 310! To celebrate the hard work of everyone involved, students and staff may dress in style day attire every Wednesday for the remainder of the 2022 calendar year! Congratulations and thank you for your continued support.

... that over $1,560 was raised for the Hammer Out Pediatric Cancer Foundation?
Working with their sponsors, Mrs. Sarah Harrison and Nurse Leah Mosqueda, club members not only handed out collection boxes to homeroom teachers but also helped count each and every coin that was collected. Despite the unexpected eLearning Days on Thursday and Friday, the fundraiser was a definite success.
Thank you to all the students, staff, and families for generously supporting such an important cause. To learn more about this organization and their 5K and Fun Run this weekend, you can visit the Hammer Out Pediatric Cancer Campaign page.
