Principal's Patch

We are very excited about the upcoming events here at Chandler for parents and students.

In October we are taking a different approach to Open House. The teachers have been working hard with your child(ren) to teach them in fun and exciting ways. Here at Chandler we have high expectations for your child(ren). October 22nd is a time for 2nd grade parents and October 23rd is a time for 3rd grade parents to interact with their child(ren) and teachers. Come and participate in a fun learning experience using math and reading!

We also have a big motivational celebration for students this month that ties into our Bulldog Essentials. We are looking forward to celebrating all of our students! Be sure to ask your child(ren) about the happenings at Chandler!

Fundraiser is coming in soon! We will do a drive through pick-up. Dates will be announced soon. Thank you for your support. We do appreciate all that you do to partner with our campus.

We are looking forward to all the great things your child(ren) will do in the future!

NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS!!! Teachers will be gearing up for the second quarter October 15 and 16. Planning is a key component to providing your child with the best learning experience possible. Take these few days to make some fall memories. It will be a nice refresher before we begin the 2nd nine weeks.

Ms. Micah Stewart is Chandler Elementary's September Employee of the Month. She is a fabulous leader to our 2nd grade ELA team. She has been a part of Chandler for 6 years. Her favorite part of her day is spending time with her daughter, Anna. Mrs. Stewart also enjoys shopping, watching movies, working out, crafting and being outside in the sunshine swimming. Thank you Ms. Stewart for making a difference at Chandler.

Mrs. Amber Robinson is Chandler Elementary's October Employee of the Month. This is her second year at Chandler teaching 2nd grade, and her eighth year in education. When she is not loving on her kiddos at school, she loves reading, baking cakes and cookies, sewing...pretty much anything crafty. Thank you Mrs. Robinson for all you do for Chandler.

Last year we had a huge success with the Box Tops for Education Program. We want to surpass last year's goal and reach $1000.00. With your help, we can make it. Remember to clip those Box Tops and glue them on the submission form. You can also send them in a baggie as well. Include your child's name, as well as the teacher's name. The top Box Top Kid from each class will be recognized each quarter and the top Box Top class for 2nd and 3rd grade will receive a reward each quarter as well. Let's all do our part!!! (You can pick up more submission forms from the office.)
