Love Your Library Summer Reading Edition 2021

Events to Love at Your Library this Summer

Don't miss a summer full of fun, food, entertainment, and learning at your library! This year Springville Public Library will offer Summer Reading programs and activities designed for preschoolers, school aged children, teens, and adults. The Summer fun starts on June 9th at 11:00 when Animal Tales and Tales kick off our Summer Reading events with a live animal show. The Summer Reading program for children will take place on Wednesdays in June and conclude with a Summer Reading Celebration on Thursday July 15, 2021. Wednesday programs are designed for all children from birth to rising ninth graders, but everyone is welcome to come! Wednesday events will be hosted by Springville First United Methodist Church in the church gym, located at 6471 US Highway 11. The Springville Public Library would like to thank SFUMC for making these summer reading events possible.

On June 10th at 10:30, Enchanted Fairy Princesses will host our first Summer Storytime at the Springville Public Library annex. Special summer story times for children 9 years old and younger will take place every Thursday in June. Story time events will be at 10:30 in the Children's Annex.

The Springville Public Library is excited to offer a variety of programs designed just for teens ages 12-18, every Thursday afternoon at 3:30. These programs start on June 10th with a Bubble Class for Teens. Other teen events include a Self-Defense Class, Tie Dye Making Class, Cookie Creations for Teens, and conclude with a Summer Reading Finale party for teens on July 15th.

Adults are invited to attend one of our relaxing Chair Yoga and Mat Yoga Classes or explore Genealogy with local experts. Adult classes are held in the Main Library. Please call 205-467-2339 to register. Space is limited.
