6th Sunday of Easter

Today is the SIXTH Sunday of Easter! Today we put our trust in the Holy Spirit and the gifts that the Spirit bestows on us wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord.

We continue to celebrate with Easter Joy that Christ is Risen!!!

"The Holy Spirit is a great worker, not a 'trade unionist. ' He is a great worker, and He works in us, always. He does this work of explaining the mystery of Jesus, and of giving us this sense of Christ." - Pope Francis.

Confirmation 2023

Parent Organization meeting: 6:00 pm Wednesday, September 21, 2022

Archbishop Richard Smith will confer the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Martin of Tours at the 4:30 pm Mass on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Sacrament of Confirmation:

Although many receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in their early teenage years, long after they have already received First Communion (Holy Eucharist), Confirmation is considered the second Sacrament of Initiation. In some writings, Confirmation is considered to be the “perfecting” of the Baptism, in that the Baptized are “more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.

Please call the Parish Office at 780-632-3272 to register. The Confirmands in Grade 6 or older, including adults, may register. You must supply a copy of the Confirmand's Baptism Certificate if you were baptized elsewhere, (not at St. Martin of Tours, Holy Heart of Mary, or St. Gregory the Great.)

Please register as soon as possible. Please complete the attached form and email it back to the church office, or register at the office.
