Fulton County Public Library Summer Reading Program

This year's summer reading theme at the Fulton County Public Library is "Imagine Your Story." The program is 100% virtual and open to all ages, so be sure to signup and log your reading and activities online or in the Beanstack app. Also join FCPL on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube for story time and much more! Barnes & Noble Summer Reading and Journal

Win a free book this summer by reading 8 books, completing the journal linked above, and returning it to Barnes and Noble between July 1st and August 31st.

Apps Available in MyBackpack for Summer Reading


The Audible app is now available through MyBackPack. Students and staff have access to hundreds of titles while schools are closed. You don't have to use additional sign on credentials. Just click on the app and search for a title or browse by the topics listed on the page, select a book and begin listening. Have fun listening and making pictures in your head to help you understand the text!

Class Pass

Don't forget that thanks to a partnership with the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System, all Atlanta Public School students are patrons of the public library!

1. There is no card involved. Students use the APS username and password.

2. There are no late fees.

3. If student loses a book, the fee is a writing assignment.

Class Pass allows the following checkouts:

50 books, 10 CDs, 5 DVDs

Digital checkouts:

Hoopla - 10 downloads per month

Overdrive - 10 items every 30 days

Axis 360 - 5 titles per month


Keep reading on Myon through the summer! Use your credentials to access Myon through MyBackpack and you will have access to hundreds of titles on various topics. You can either browse genres, or enter a search for specific titles of interest. Myon has a wealth of reading material, including books about DIY projects and hobbies to keep you busy throughout the summer! Enjoy the magic of Myon this summer!


TumbleBookLibrary is a curated database of children’s e-books, available by subscription to Elementary Schools and Public Libraries around the world.

TumbleBookLibrary Premium has over 1100 titles for grades K-6, and includes our unique animated, talking picture books, read-along chapter books, National Geographic videos, non-fiction books, playlists, as well as books in Spanish and French. Plus, the collection features Graphic Novels – a student favorite!

Subscriptions are affordable and EASY to use, and include tools to simplify your kids’ access from home as well as from your building. There are no check-out times or wait lists: the books are always available, to everyone in your institution!

It’s a great resource for tech-savvy kids, and teaches them the joy of reading in a format they’ll love.

Rourke Interactive eBooks

Rourke’s educational e-Book collection features a variety of informational texts including science, math, social studies, high-interest, bilingual, and Spanish Language books. In addition to the informational titles, we feature a collection of leveled reader fiction titles. Our educational e-Books are leveled by Guided Reading Levels (GRL) and are correlated to Common Core State Standards.
