As the year gets rolling, I'd like to remind you the importance of attendance at school. Not only attending, but arriving to school on time is of utmost importance. Last year, we added a special email address to allow you to email your child's absence to school, rather than calling. We all know how busy mornings can be, so we're hoping this gives you another avenue to communicate with the school. That email address is: maryfrankattendance@phm.k12.in.us. Please provide your child's name, date of absence, and reason in your email.
We also have a couple of requests to help with attendance and/or transportation changes.
- Please email by 10:00a.m. if your child is going to be absent from school. You may also email the day after with attached doctor's notes (may also be sent as screen shot) if they will be out for multiple days.
- If there are transportation changes, you must write the teacher a note and send it in with your child OR make a phone call to the office before noon whenever possible. We know emergency situation happen on occaision, but to assure that all changes are received, we'd like for you to PLEASE communicate with us as soon as possible.
School begins at 7:55am, with doors opening at 7:40am. Dismissal begins at 2:10pm, with buses rolling at 2:20pm. You can find the PHM attendance policy for elementary students, Pre-K, and PennPALS students here:
