Wildwood Spelling Bee

On Monday, December 10, Wildwood will conduct the first round of this year's school spelling bee. All interested 4th and 5th grade students are invited to the MPR at 12:40pm after they eat lunch to take a 25-question spelling test that will determine the 8-12 students who will move forward to our final spelling bee in January. Any 4th or 5th grade students who are absent on December 10 may join us for a make-up test at the same time and place on Tuesday, December 11.

Reflections

Let's congratulate our THREE winners from Wildwood Elementary that made it into the Conejo Council Show! Their art will be displayed at the upcoming Conejo Council Show on December 11th, at TOHS performing arts center. Their art will then move on to the District judging! There were 20 Conejo Valley schools that our artists were up against, so the competition was fierce.

Great job to all of our students who entered Reflections, and special congrats to:

Library Volunteers Needed

If you have a knack for organization, the library could use a few volunteers each week to shelve books. An few volunteers serving an hour or two each week would make a huge difference. Please contact our school librarian, Lynda Gutierrez Lee at LGutierrezlee@conejousd if interested.

2022-2023 Opt-In Communication for CVUSD Advisory Council/Committee Updates

In CVUSD, parent/guardian engagement and participation is a top priority! Participation is encouraged through many organizations and activities. Several CVUSD Advisory Councils/Committees that support parent/guardian participation are listed in THIS OPT-IN FORM, with the OPTION for you to select any or all to receive communications from the school’s identified parent/guardian representative and/or from school site administration. This communication would provide information and updates to you related to the Advisory Council/Committee meetings. Please select the Council(s)/Committee(s) that you would like to receive information and updates on, approximately monthly. If you have students at multiple school sites, please submit the form for each school. Additionally, if you opted-in last year, please plan to do so annually. Importantly, should you choose to opt-in to receiving these updates, the parent/guardian representative for the Advisory Council(s)/Committees(s) and/or the administration will not share your email address with others. You also have the ability to opt-out at any time in the event you no longer wish to receive the Advisory Council/Committee information.

If you would like to learn more about these Advisory Councils/Committees, or other ways to get involved at CVUSD, please go to: https://www.conejousd.org/domain/1365
