Location

There are two types of location Relative and Absolute.

Absolute Location is a specific location. My hometown coordinates are

45.6092° N, 94.4517° W

Relative location is an approximate location. The relative location of my hometown is North West of St.Cloud and in between Collegeville and Albany.

Place

Place is and area that is defined by everything in it there are two types of places one that is put in place by humans that is called human characteristic and one that natural features called physical characteristics.

Some human characteristics of my house are my garage, shed, deer stands, trampoline, and a swing set.

Some physical characteristics of my house are a lake, swamp, grass, trees, and soil.

Human-Environmental Interaction

Human-Environmental Interaction is how people adapt to, modify, and depend on the environment.

Adapt is how you make something suitable for a new purpose. An example is dressing for the cold weather.

Modify is when you make partial or minor changes. An example is mowing the lawn.

Depend when somebody or something relies on something for support or maintenance. An example is for air from the trees.

Movement

The way that people, goods, ideas, and information move from one place to another.

Region

An area defined by certain, similar, and unifying characteristics.

One physical feature of the midwest is lakes, a human feature is Mount Rushmore.
