Scholastic Book Fair

Thank you to all who participated in our Scholastic Book Fair! The students, parents, teachers and especially our loyal volunteers made this year’s fair a big success. Due to your generosity during the coin drive, we were able to give out over $300 in gift certificates so that every student had an opportunity to receive a book.

So far, we have almost met our goal of 798 books sold! And if you missed it, our online fair is open until Wednesday the 13th. To shop online, use the link from the Silk Hope School Webpage. Our book fair supports our teachers and students by providing funds for exciting reading resources like the weekly scholastic magazines and interesting books for classroom libraries. We look forward to seeing you again in May for our Buy One Get One free book event, where kids can stock up on summer reading material.

  • The School Improvement Team will meet Monday at 3:15

  • 7th/8th grade band will travel to Greensboro for their MPA performance Monday
