New Students:

Welcome to Insight School of Oklahoma! Over the next few days you'll be completing these Strong Start requirements:

  • Strong Start Connection Call with CFA
  • Attend Strong Start Live Orientation Session
  • Strong Start Online Learning Course
  • Strong Start Star 360 Reading Growth Assessment
  • Strong Start Star 360 Math Growth Assessment

Required Assessments in Star360

All students in 9th-12th grades will take Star360 assessments this year for math and reading. These will be taken in August, December, and May. Additionally, all students will be taking a USA Test Prep assessment in October and March to ensure students are meeting their grade level standards and to simulate state testing. These assessments are required and help our teachers target instruction to meet students’ needs and ensure growth. It is important that students complete these assessments on their own, without assistance from learning coaches or other sources.

Your teachers will also send out information to complete Star360 assessments, but students may begin now to complete them.

ISOK Weekly Announcement

Stop Bullying
Big picture

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. We invite you to help put an end to bullying and cyber bullying.

We are highlighting the Power of ONE. This month we are going to focus on how one person can make a difference by being kind. That one person can start a chain reaction to prevent bullying.

You can participate in a variety of activities to help support the movement to end bullying.

  • Wear blue on October 7, the World Day of Bullying Prevention.

  • Have a conversation with family or friends about the various forms of bullying and the importance of demonstrating kindness and tolerance.

  • Speak up when observing bullying.

  • Create and sign a pledge to stand up to bullying.

  • Stomp Out Bullying by participating in one of more of these activities.

  • Promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion by choosing an activity from Pacer.

  • Wear orange on October 21, which is Unity Day.

  • More Resources here!

Let K12 know how you choose to participate!

  • You can share your photos with us on our social media pages all month long!

  • You can also upload your photos here!

  • Join the conversation by using the following hashtags:

  • #PowerofONE #EducationforAnyONE #IAmONE

Remember, you have all month long to make a difference. The deadline to submit your photos is October 31. We can’t wait to see how you help stomp out bullying!
