Go to ArtToRemember.com to place your order. Thank you for supporting our school!
Purchase a school yearbook today! Don't delay!
School Yearbooks will be sold from the Balfour site this school year. Please use the link to purchase. Yearbooks will be $25. If purchased after November 30, they will be $30. Purchasing options will close on January 20th.
Dairy Queen
One easy way to support our school is to visit family nights at various restaurants in our community. Some students have asked us what we do with this money. This money goes towards small projects that don't involve classroom engagement. For example, we purchased a trash can that matches our new indoor furniture that families use when eating with their children at lunch. We have purchased costumes for the fifth grade program for those that needed them. Support our school this month by visiting the locations below and let them know you are from Young Elementary.
Each Wednesday in November- Dairy Queen in Tontitown (3-9PM)
Tuesday, November 1- Red Door (5-9PM)

Veteran's Day
Veteran's Day is coming soon. Our second graders will be performing for Veteran's Day this year. We are planning to add a small presentation to our performance. If there is a veteran in your child's life, please send a picture to younginfo@sdale.org. Include the veteran's name, student's name and student's grade. All photos need to be sent in by Monday, November 7th. If you remember having a slide in last year's presentation and want to use the same one, email me the name and I will look for it. You are invited to attend The Veteran's Day assembly on Thursday, November 10th at 6:00PM. All Veteran's are welcome!
