Girls Middle School Volleyball Program Grades 5-8

This volleyball program will teach girls the skills, rules, and teamwork necessary to play Competitive volleyball. Participants will be assigned to teams coached by the AHS Volleyball team. Each session will include practice time and games. Beginners are welcome!


5th and 6th graders will run every Tuesday at Attleboro High School

April 5th - May 24, 2022 from 5-7pm

$40


7th and 8th graders will run every Tuesday AND/OR Thursday at Attleboro High School

April 5/7th - May 26th, 2022 from 5-7pm

$40 for one session per week / $80 for two sessions per week

Tips for Communicating With Your Teen

The teenage years have a lot in common with the terrible twos. During both stages our kids are doing exciting new things, but they’re also pushing boundaries (and buttons) and throwing tantrums. The major developmental task facing both age groups is also the same: kids must pull away from parents and begin to assert their own independence.


If this sounds familiar, take a deep breath and remind yourself that your child is going through his terrible teens. It is a phase that will pass, and your job as parent is still vitally important, only the role may have changed slightly. Here are some tips for navigating the new terrain:

Project Connect CFCE is offering this FREE 8 week Series, which covers topics such as Positive Child Guidance Techniques, Communication Skills, Self Esteem and Temperament. Classes will take place on Thursdays, from April 7th to June 2nd, at 10:00-11:30am.
