COVID-19 Protocols & Face Coverings
Muenster ISD Campus Procedures Related to COVID-19 (Details & Flowchart)
Muenster ISD is asking parents and students do their part to help mitigated the spread of COVID-19 so we can continue to offer in-person classes. To review these procedures, click on the link above.
Face coverings are required for all staff and all students 4th grade and above. Although face coverings are not required for students below 4th grade at Muenster ISD, we are strongly encouraging masks. Face shields may be used in place of a mask to protect eyes, nose, and mouth whenever a mask is not feasible or whenever the educational context may benefit from the ability to see an individual’s full face.
We are encouraging students in Pre-K through 3rd grade to wear face coverings in classrooms, hallways, common areas, and during arrival and dismissal, and may be required at other times when social distancing is not possible, such as on the bus. All students (PK-12) will be expected to wear a mask during the entirety of the time they are riding a school bus.
2020-2021 Bus Protocols
NO EXTRA RIDERS - Students can NOT bring extra riders with them on the route buses.
Students may ONLY be dropped off at the stop on file with the transportation department.
Students and other passengers are to wear a mask while on the bus.
The seat behind the driver is to be left open.
Students are to sit one to a seat.
Every other row is to be left open.
When students enter the bus, they are to sit in their assigned seat (same seat every time - no moving to new seats during route).
