Greeting Parents & Community Members
The following week we begin our end of year ASB activities. In order to participate in out of class activities and privileges, students must be in good academic standing and citizenship. Students may participate if they have the following grades: A,B, C, D and if they have the following citizenship grades: E, G, S, N. In addition, there are behavior qualifications and attendance qualifications. All students have been notified whether or not they meet these requirements. A letter has also been given to 8th graders and conditional contracts have been given to allow for students to bring up their grades before the Promotion Ceremony.
Parents, please help us provide a safe environment in front of the school during drop off in the morning. If you are dropping off, please pull all the way over to the side or drive forward until there is pace to pull over. Please do not double or triple park. The parking lot is reserved for visitors and staff only. If you are dropping your child off early, please note that supervision does begin until 7:40 and at 7:40, we expect all students to enter the front gate. In addition, all students should be picked up by 3:15 PM after school unless they are attending an after school program or Prime Time. Students are not permitted to exit campus and then return.
8th grade Promotion will take place on June 21st at 9:00. The ceremony usually lasts about an hour and you may take your child home early that day or they may walk back to school with staff. The location is at the Madison High School Football Field. The attire for students is dressy/casual. All family members are welcome! Your child must meet criteria in order to attend. Please see the criteria below.
There are many events happening in June- please make sure you see the dates and the iMIddle calendar. As you know, iMIddle does not send home paper fliers with students. All information is located on our calendar.

School Site Council
School Site Councils (SSC) provide oversight of the academic planning and budgeting process associated with the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) in order to meet the needs of all students. SSCs provide meaningful consultation with the principal to oversee the implementation, monitoring, and revision of the SPSA, including reviewing and analyzing data; consulting with advisory groups; evaluating programs and activities; and allocating the expenditure of funds available to the school through categorical programs.
SSC Meetings will be held the third Monday of every month starting at 4:15 PM in the Library.
