Principal's Message
Thank you to the approximately 80 families that joined me for my Principal Zoom Community Meeting last week. The information provided detailed our re-opening plans and changes to our instructional program for this week.
A reminder that our Elementary teachers are returning to teach from the Robinson campus. They will be with students from 8 - 11:00am for live ZOOM instruction. From 12 - 2:00pm students will be completing ASYNCHRONOUS work and teachers will not be available as they will need this time to prepare for the return of students during the week of 3/29.
1. Elementary Reopening - March 29, 2021, marks our upcoming ELEMENTARY campus re-opening and it is ONE week away. Know that we are hard at work ensuring that Robinson follows district guidelines that are in accordance with the California Department of Health guidelines for COVID safety. I invite you to join me for the next Principal Zoom Meeting @ 4:00pm on 3/24/21 to help answer questions you may have to help prepare for our re-opening plans.

4. Middle School Minimum Day Schedules- These will continue on Wednesdays and Thursdays for middle school planning, with 1:00 dismissal.
5. CORE Culture/Climate Survey- Thanks to all families that completed the CORE Survey. Your feedback is greatly appreciated as it will help us make necessary changes to our instructional program to better meet the needs of our Robinson community.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rxRerhtrLCNkU0B-vwyZIFP3e8vkHEXnD-CHiYkxqOg/edit?usp=sharing
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KFI9fdYTcNBI14j_xn_TPyo2sjov6xQhAY0LJYzKArU/edit?usp=sharing
Atentamente,

A Note from Ms. Baker
School Uniforms
We have great news! Operation School Bell is in the process of preparing the uniform orders for those students who were fitted at the beginning of the school year. The uniforms are scheduled to arrive by March 29, 2021. Once they arrive, we distribute them to the students who have chosen Hybrid/In-Person Instruction. If your child is in need of uniform support and did not get fitted at the beginning of the year, please let your child’s classroom teacher know.
Soccer Try-Outs
Special thanks go out to Mr. Romo and Mr. Marengo for coaching JRob’s soccer team! Tryout dates are forthcoming. All students, both virtual or hybrid with a 2.0 GPA or above at the 3rd quarter report card are eligible for tryouts. Stay tuned for tryout dates and times.

I’ve compiled a list of activities that I’m sure will have them asking for more! For example, courtesy of the California Science Museum, I will be playing the role of “The Gross Scientist! The kids will be learning things like Sticky Snot, Let It Rip (Why do farts make sounds?), Spill Your Guts (Why vomiting is important!), and Germ Busters. For these and other hands-on activities, WE will provide the kids with the supplies needed for the activity.
We will recognize some Fun Facts of the day (Chinese New Year, Random Act of Kindness Day, Make a Friend Day, and more!) For Friday’s Fun Day, we’ll do some singing and dancing to end the week on a good note!
There will also be Yoga and Stretching classes, along with instructions on how to make a healthy snack, and The Boys & Girls Club will be providing the necessary supplies/ingredients!
