All of us at Centreville Public School are so proud of how our students, our families and our community have managed the challenges we have faced over the past year and a half. Again , we have experienced unprecedented levels of engagement, patience and adaptability within our student body under very difficult circumstances and the results have been impressive. I would like to take this opportunity to offer a collective “WELL DONE!” to everyone!

Thank you to the members of our Parent Advisory Committee and for the leadership of Ms. Katelyn Lockridge and Michele Cornacchia-Elvidge whose constant support of our school and our students is so very much appreciated. We missed some of our favorite events this year and look forward to next year and celebrating together again as a community!
We are very excited to announce that our gym will be getting a new floor this summer. In addition, we look forward to working with our Parent Council and Evergreen Consulting to begin the work to create a Master Plan for our school yard! Stay tuned!
Congratulations to our Grade 8 Graduates, and we wish them all the very best the world has to offer in the coming years as they enter this next stage in their lives. We will miss them greatly, but they know they are always welcome at Centreville Public School!
Report cards are being completed and we are currently developing a plan where families can pick up their belongings, drop off borrowed technology and pick up end of year reports. We anticipate that this will happen during the last couple of days of the school year (June 23/24). Please stay tuned!

Kindergarten programs in Ontario offer a full day of learning for four- and five-year-olds. At Centreville PS, our Kindergarten program aims to nurture the whole child. In Kindergarten classrooms, a teacher and an early childhood educator work together as a team. This partnership helps to create a nurturing learning environment; giving every student the opportunity to learn in the way that is best suited to their individual strengths and needs.
Online registration for the 2021-2022 school year is now open. Register your student here http://bit.ly/LDSBregistration2021 or feel free to pass this information on to anyone you know that is planning to register their child this year. Please direct Centreville PS newcomers to our website at centreville.limestone.on.ca for more information about registering for Kindergarten.
We recognize this year has been different due to COVID-19, and we have learned a great deal from our experiences these past months. We are proud of the way our students and staff have responded to these challenges, and we continue to work closely with our partners at KFL&A Public Health to ensure health and safety protocols are in place and appropriate. The health and safety of students and staff is our priority.
You can feel confident your student will be cared for within safe and inclusive environments.
