School Liaison for the Marine Corps at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego-Western Recruiting Region (MCRD/WRR)
My name is Stacey Hendricks and I am the newest school liaison for the Marine Corps at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego-Western Recruiting Region (MCRD/WRR). I was an elementary teacher for 16 years in Washington State and have been working with the military community for almost 6 years at MCRD San Diego. Your school is one of the schools in my AOR. I am here to provide support, assistance, and resources to your military families.
My goal is to promote awareness about the unique educational needs our military families face and aid them into successful school transitions. I am here to help support in several ways:
- Collaborating and engaging in schools; like yours, as well as community partnerships in order to foster academic success for military children.
- Aid in increasing awareness about who we are and what we can do to help the educator, the community, and the military families.

The weeks will be March 8-25, one week for each of the the following groups: first-time freshmen (March 8-11), California Community College transfer students, and Associate Degree for Transfer students. It is designed to be a forum in which colleges and universities can share information and guide students to resources.
Each campus will present a short live session to allow students to learn more about the college or university. Each college and university has also created a registration link, that is included in the full schedule of events at aiccu.edu/aiccucampusweeks
