Dress Code

Dress code will be enforced according to the policies set by BISD. There were some consistent issues that we will be correcting throughout the beginning of the year In order to get everyone used to following the policy as is written.

Students cannot wear head coverings while in school. This includes hats, hoodies covering the head, bandannas, rags, or visors.

Tank tops, tube tops, halters, spaghetti straps or strapless dresses without a covering shirt, blouse or jacket are inappropriate. Transparent and/or see-through material will be considered inappropriate. Shirts and blouses must be four fingers wide at the shoulder. Low-cut necklines are considered inappropriate at school. Shirts and blouses must cover the entire torso at all times, including belly and shoulders, even in movement.

Skirts, dresses, shorts, and skorts must be fingertip length. Jeans and pants with holes above fingertip length (without patches) shall not be worn. No degree of sag (pants) will be permitted. If jeans or pants are loose at the waist, a belt must be worn.

If clothing has to be continually pulled down to be within dress code, then the clothing is not in dress code. This goes for shirts, shorts or skirts.

Students may not have fluorescent or unnatural colored hair.

Please help us with maintaining the standards of the dress code for BISD.
