Schoology and Academy District 20
Where Learning Happens │ June 15, 2018
Where are we in the implementation process?
The tech integration team is working hard on learning the new systems and establishing a good working environment for the Academy District 20 community. We are currently in the final stages of working with Schoology and Infinite Campus to create the passback of student, teacher and course information in a single sign-on environment. This is a process that involves testing, proofing, editing and further testing in order to facilitate the bests user experience. When completed, staff will be able to login to our ASD20 Schoology Enterprise system. This will open the door for you to begin planning, creating and curating resources for your courses.
Just as a reminder, you are unable to create a basic (free) account in Schoology using your first.last@asd20.org email address. We have put a hold on that domain as part of the process. If you have a basic account using that email address, we will be able to merge that account for you.
Anxious to get started? We are, too!

Your pilot journey will provide opportunities to dip your toes and wade into various features with guided support as well as opportunities to dive in and experience on your own what Schoology has to offer us. We are busy partnering with Schoology to develop the materials and supports for you. There will be many points of learning and reflection along the way, but we’re positive that the journey will bring us to a place of solid pedagogical practice supported by resources designed to deepen learning, support best instructional practices, increase student agency, improve communication and feedback, and create a collaborative educational experience.
