*Report cards will be distributed to students on Thursday, December 17th. (Families have been notified via email and text message that the report card distribution date is now December 17th.) PARCC test results for all 4th grade students must be included with the report cards along with a letter from the Commissioner. You will receive these items with your printed out report cards to be put into the student envelopes.
*ATTENDANCE: As many of you are aware student attendance is a major concern of mine. Students within the "warning" and "chronic" absence rate have been sent letters and meetings have been set up with families to discuss a solution to the attendance issues. This is a time for me to problem solve with the families and hold them accountable for their child's attendance. I also plan to review the attendance policy during these meetings. If you have concerns about a specific student please let me know. I will notify you after a meeting if it pertains to a student in your classroom.
*Safety: Just a reminder to remain diligent about safety within our school. The holidays can be a crazy time and also a time to become more complacent. Please be sure to wear your badges (if you have them- we are STILL awaiting the new ones for this year.) All traveling staff must sign-in/out upon entering the building. Any staff leaving the building during prep time or outside of their normal hours must also sign-in and out. The clipboard is located on the front counter of the office. We will be having a fire drill this week- the weather looks nice!
*Holiday Break begins on Wednesday, December 23rd!
