The 5th grade STAR

Walk in Faith with Mercy and Grace

News to Know....for the week of May 16, 2016

Belated thanks to Mrs. Hernandez, Mrs. Schulz, Mrs. Sanford, Mrs. Huerta, Mrs. Helou, Mrs. Fuentes, Mrs. Burdge and Mrs. Patrick who drove us to Riley's Farm...the kids loved the trip and we couldn't have made it there without you. I hope you enjoyed the learning along with the kids!

The kids had an A- average on their final states/capitals test last Friday! That is a lot to learn and most really buckled down to memorize them all - I'm very proud of their efforts! They got to show off their knowledge at the talent show - great job on that too!! :)

Don't forget about AMERIKIDS!!! Friday, June 3....11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the church. I can tell that some students have really been working on their lines, but others need to do a lot of will be here before we know it! Can't wait to present this amazing musical! :)

CAN YOU HELP? We need military uniforms (or the like) for our show. We already have the Marines taken care of, but we still need something for Army, Navy, and Air Force. If there is anyone who knows of someone who could loan us a uniform (even if just a coat or hat) it would be appreciated. Thank you!
