Principal's Message

Congrats on wrapping up the first week back from break! It was great to see our students and come together as a staff.

This will be a busy and productive week with Parent Teacher Conferences and tutoring right around the corner. Parents are our greatest allies, lets make this a great Parent Teacher Conference Night.

A few notes and reminders--

  • Spring Parent Teacher Conferences will take place this Thursday from 4-7:30pm. Click here to see the district flier. The teacher Conference Record Form can be downloaded from Google docs by clicking here and the Teacher Scheduling Tool is also available here. Please be prepared by scheduling conferences in advance, filling out the Teacher Conference Record, and by having a clean and orderly environment.

  • The Texas Legends Field Trip for 3rd-5th graders will take place this Friday, January 14th. Please help us remind students and get them excited about this excellent opportunity for them to see a professional basketball team game. Dinner and transportation are provided.

  • The Lion's Club vision bus will be here on January 20th. They provide free eye exams and glasses to students in need. We sent out 58 application for free glasses and have only received 15. Please remind students and parents to take advantage of this free service and great opportunity.

  • A field trip to Stockard Middle School for fifth graders is scheduled for February 9th. This trip provides students an opportunity to see the middle school setting and become familiar with expectations for the upcoming school-year. Please encourage all fifth grade students to turn in their application and attend.
