Veterans Day at Bower
During our school assembly, Mrs. Thompkins, our music teacher led the chorus and students through Patriotic songs. We also heard from a Veteran from Cantigny, Russ Kolkay, and our special guest was Mr. Ralph Heatherington, Ms. Heatherington's dad and retired District 200 teacher and principal. Mr. Heatherington was honored for his service in the Vietnam War on an Honor Flight two weeks ago, and he was able to share a little bit about that with our Bower community.
A special thank you to the members in our Bower community who have served and those who have loved and supported a family member who is serving. We are thankful for and blessed by your sacrifice.
Fondly,
Bridget Moore
