Whitney Wolves Week 1 News

Where is the path leading you?

Message to Caregivers

We are off to a great start! Students are coming in prepared with a snack in hand and a friendly wave, they have made it to their classrooms, have met their teachers, and are making friends, As we delve into early fall, some days may be chilly and your child might need a sweatshirt, sweater, or coat. Students continue to have snack. We encourage healthy snacks and ask that you limit products containing nuts.

Pick-up and drop-off have gone relatively smooth. Parents dropping off and picking up need to remember to keep the entrance to parking lot clear in order for staff to enter and park. We thank you for following all safety guidelines as you enter and exit the parking lot.

Our 3rd grade orientation was wonderful! We were happy to meet many parents and want to give thanks to: FRC, ERfC, KITE and our PTO. On that note, your participation in your child's activities is important to us. Please consider joining our PTO. Our first meeting is 9/20.

As we move into our 2nd week, we will continue to maintain safety guidelines which include, but are not limited to: daily cleaning, social distancing, masking and handwashing. Students are able to take frequent mask breaks and have been using this wonderful weather for outside instruction.

As we move into week two, some things to look forward to: our PTO meeting and upcoming open house on September 20th. We hope that you will be able to participate in both.

Best regards,

Mrs. Flanaghan, Principal

Miss Fitzsimons, Assistant Principal
