Ohio's State Tests and CTE WebXams Postponed

Due to an abundance of caution regarding the short-and long-term health of our students and staff, we are postponed the administration of Ohio's State Tests and CTE WebXams at The Graham School.

As we all know, Columbus, Franklin County, the state and nation are in the midst of the worst peak in the COVID-19 pandemic. We do not want to further exacerbate the severity of this outbreak by bringing together so many people into our buildings.

Parent/Guardian Survey

Dear Families,

As a parent or caregiver, your involvement in your student’s learning and school is valuable and important. For this reason, each year we ask families to complete this anonymous survey which asks for your feedback concerning communication, curriculum, and culture at The Graham School. If you could please complete the survey by Friday, January 15, we would appreciate it. We value your feedback. Thank you!

Front Office Update

With the rising COVID cases in Ohio, specifically Franklin County, we feel it is in the best interest for all to have the front office closed to the public at this time and re-evaluate this change in January. Front office associates, as well as Deans will be working remotely from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. each day and available via the email address You may also reach out via phone, at 614-262-1111. Calls will be returned. If you have a need to come into the school please reach out via one of these options to make an appointment. Meal pick up for students will still happen as it has all school year. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out.

All TGS Students Qualify From Now Until the End of The School Year for Free Breakfast and Lunch

During virtual learning TGS will continue to serve student meals through The National School Lunch Program. Families MUST sign-up for pick-up dates a week in advance to assure that food is ordered. If you sign up later than the one week time frame we may not have enough meals to distribute.

This is only for students enrolled at TGS. Food portions will not be provided for siblings. If for any reason some of these guidelines will make it difficult for you to pick up meals, or if you have any questions about these guidelines or the lunch program in general, please contact Bryan Kossmann directly at or 614.262.1111 (Email is preferred) to sign up for a pick-up time.

Thanksgiving Food Boxes Delivered

The Graham School partnered for the third year in a row with Crossroads Community Church to provide Thanksgiving food boxes to families in our TGS community. When the partnership began in 2018, 15 boxes were filled and distributed to families. This year that number grew to 39 boxes! Out of the 39 boxes, 19 were picked up by families at the school and 20 were delivered by ten TGS staff members who drove to neighborhoods far and wide. In addition to the food provided by the church members, households who picked up their boxes were offered fresh greens from the Graham greenhouse.

Many families expressed gratitude for the outpouring of compassion and support. We certainly hope to continue this partnership for many years to come.

Thank you to Crossroads Community Church, TGS Staff, and the families we have the privilege to serve!

Big picture

TGS is a School-wide Title 1 program, enabling us to receive Federal Funds to ensure that our students receive the support they need to reach and exceed grade level goals in reading and math. We welcome parent involvement in planning, review and improvement of Title 1 programs including the family engagement policy and the schoolwide program plan. Please contact Debbie Addison at with any questions.

Per House Bill 21 community schools are now required to perform a monthly review of student files and randomly select families for residency verification. Please be sure to contact the school immediately in case of an address change. Proof of residency must be submitted within two weeks of an address change. If evidence is not provided, requests for additional documentation or a home visit may occur.
