6th, 7th and 8th graders win in Life Happens Outside Challenge!
Of 91 middle schools across Maine, the small but mighty middle schoolers of WMHS racked up 94,735 minutes of outdoor time in the last week of October to come in 3rd place and receive a check for $1,000 for outdoor gear. Thank you Teens to Trails and The First for your encouragement and support! Some of the outdoor activities that students said they participated in were camping, youth hunting days, going to a football game, and, of course, at least 15 minutes of recess every school day.
