Identity

me

Identity

I believe that i am a nice, smart young man who's a loving son to two parents and brother of two sisters. I believe that society however doesn't think I'm smart because of how lazy i can be when it comes to school. I dress like any other kids now in 2014 but i tend to go by my own style and not anyone else's. I am a latino who speaks english very well, I also speak spanish very well. I play sports but i mostly play soccer and basketball. I love to sleep, eat and hangout with friends. I'm a kid with huge dreams and crave being successful so i guess you can say I'm not your average teen.

Gender

Gender is a not as important as it used to be back then. There's people who still think just because females are females they can't do guy stuff or guys can't do girl stuff. There's people who think females shouldn't work as much as a guy or guys shouldn't do any house work. This is 2014, i believe girls and guys should be treated equaly. The way you're treated depends on your gender, if you're a female, most people think you shoud stay in the kitchen, cook, do laundry and stuff. For us guys, we're expected to go to work, and to do the harder labor in the house, do harder stuff just because we're men. People think because most sports have males, females can't play or don't know how to play.

Perception

I think people see me as the lazy type of athletic kid. I'm athletic i'm just really lazy. I love food so i guess you can say people view me as a fatty. I'm lazy so i guess you can also say people don't see me as the smart type because sometimes i don't feel like doing my work. Sometimes when i do it i don't put in as much effort as i know i can. They also see me as a calm person because i don't start problems, unless you piss me off. I consider myself a real mature calm person, unless you piss me off.
Gender Roles in Society

Orsino

Identity

I believe Orsino is one of those nice guys. Seems like he's willing to do anything for that girl he finds real special to him. Although it seems like he's too nice which sometimes makes people take advanage of that. He's the Duke of the town who loves a lady named Olivia. He does everything to get her. He suffers from love. Orsino despite being real soft, seems like he's one of those guys who believe females should be in the kitchen or cleaning because of only hiring men.

Gender

I believe gender is real important for Duke Orsino. Judging from the fact he only hires men. After Orsino finds out Cesario is actually a female, he still consists in calling her Cesario. Why? After all, he's still attached to the male identity in her. Now that Viola and him are getting married, he's going to see her differently, now that she'll be wearing female clothes. Gender is real important to him.

Perception

People in the story see him as an old but not too old guy who can be nice. He's perceived as generous and tolerant. He gives Feste a lot of money for playing music. Although Feste might be annoying, Duke pays him good. People see him as a nice manand others don't but i guess most people won't take time to really meet someone before they judge them.
