celebrating 25 years of excellence in catholic education
Theme for the Year: Goodness
Our Motto: Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul
At St. Joseph Catholic School, we are striving to become missionary disciples, recognizing the goodness of God in our lives and in the world around us, each and every day.
Our Mission and Vision Statements
Mission:
St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a safe and prayerful learning environment, enveloped by an intimate community of active and faithful families.
Vision:
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth are committed to opening the doors so that our students can reach further than the walls that would otherwise enclose them and therefore are able to recognize and cherish the eternal and transcendental goods of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
From the Principal
Once we have completed the greenhouse, we will begin preparing the frames for the beds and amending the soil. This will take some planning, and hard work. I am excited for the day when a child plants a seed to then watch it grow into something to eat. This is one way to experience humility while we reap the fruits of our labor. What a beautiful way to encounter God in the world of classical education! The upcoming Faith Extension Day will be another way to experience a multitude of virtues, like humility. Giving of oneself freely to others is what we are called to do. I look forward to digging in the dirt with our students, and to lending a helping hand to those in need, arm-in-arm with my Knight Family.
