Our First Week
Math - We are learning all about geometry and the properties of different shapes. Students are also practicing and memorizing their multiplication facts.
Literacy - We worked on qualities of a good reader this week! We had some fun sharing stories with one another and learning fun ways to practice words. The class is very excited about writing realistic fiction stories. We started working on them today, and will finish next week!
Science - Our class is learning all about adaptations of animals and how important they are for their survival. We focused on camouflage for a few days. Everyone had a lot of fun making a moth that had to camouflage with something in our room. The students did an amazing job making them difficult to find!
