Lower Text Box
Mrs. Hess teaches ninth grade and used to teach elementary school. The environment of her office is very peaceful and calm. She knows what she's doing and is always willing to help. One of the teaching strategies she uses is she gets to know the student before finding out what their problems are, and then she will try to help them. Mrs. Hess is in the office a minimum of forty-five hours a week, and that's on a good week. A big problem for her is the emotional part of the job. A student could come in with something, and it might affect her the rest of the week. Her biggest reward is the getting to know the students.
