Hello MAPA Community,


It has been a great start to January at MAPA. I am thrilled to be named the principal here, and I officially began January 3, 2020. We are looking forward to many exciting things this second semester.



I am a graduate of Georgetown College (B.S.), Xavier University (M.S.) with additional coursework towards an Ed.S. completed at Florida State University. I bring to us over 17 years of a vast variety of educational experience at all levels. I have a very positive attitude and believe in the success of all students.


I look forward to meeting all of you as we move forward.

Meet Mr. Dickinson - Grades 6-12 Dean of Students

I wanted to introduce our new 6th-12th grade Dean of Students, Mr. Dickinson. He comes from Cleveland, OH, and he moved to Cincinnati to open a K-12 college prep school three years ago. Mr. Dickinson also has experience as a Dean of Students. Please welcome him to our building, and I know he is looking forward to meeting you. Mr. Dickinson is excited to move this school forward with positive behavior interventions and restorative discipline practices.

Parent Pick-up Procedures

All parent pick-up car riders and walkers will exit through the gym doors. This is for the safety and security of our students. If you go to the office, you will be redirected to the gym doors. At dismissal, you will not be allowed to go into the building through the gym. Please set up an appropriate time to meet or contact staff by calling the school or emailing the teacher.

An open house type of event will be held to meet Mr. Horn, the MAPA Principal on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 PM. Food and drinks will be provided. All community members are invited to attend. He looks forward to seeing you there!

  • Dinner is Served! (We are looking to serve Lee’s Chicken w/ sides)
  • Gift Card raffle for parents who sign in (
    • Bring a Friend and get more raffle tickets

School Uniform Policy

2019/2020 SCHOOL YEAR UNIFORM POLICY:

Ø SHIRTS: KG – 4th Grade Navy Blue Polo, 5th – 8th Grade Gray Polo, 9th – 12th Grade Black Polo.

Ø PANTS: KG – 8th Grades, Khaki Only, HS 9th – 12th Grade Khaki and Black (No tights are permitted).

Ø SHORTS, SKORTS OR DRESSES: KG – 8th Grades = Khaki Only, HS 9th – 12th Grade Khaki and Black (No cut-off shorts are allowed).

Ø SHOES: can be any color or style (No open toed shoes are permitted).

Ø SWEATERS: Solid colors, Navy Blue, Black or Gray.

Ø Long Sleeves are permitted under uniform shirt (Solid Colors Only) (No Emblems).

Ø DRESS DOWN DAYS: will always cost $1.00, and will only be with prior notice, such as a note/flyer sent home or robot call home.
