Why was the importance of the Battle of Gettysburg
Gettysburg was a very important battle in the civil war. Robert E. Lee led an attack on northern Virginia. This battle was a major turning point in the civil war.

This general or commander is directing his troops to keep moving forward or to keep fighting.
Devil's Den
This place is called the Devil's Den because it is "haunted" and there is a story that the gun just ended up like that but what really happened is the man/woman who took the photo put the gun like that to make a good story out of it.

During Gettysburg and the rest of the Civil War you had people that were family fighting one another it was brother vs brother and father vs son etc.

The North/ Union used the American flag.

The Confederate casualties totaled 28,063 and Union casualties totaled 23,049
