Baylor Line Tradition
The Baylor Line was established in 1970 and is composed of only new students. The students represent this tradition by wearing a football jersey with their graduating year and a nickname on the back. Before each home football game these new students gather at the south end of the stadium and run onto the field forming a human tunnel to welcome the football team to the field. After each coach and player enters the stadium the line takes their seat in a section behind the opponents bench to cheer on the Baylor Bears.
