Please click this link for the work that will be taking place over the next 3-5 years. This document outlines 3 phases that make up the process.
Meetings with content area teams will begin in November. ELA and Math will be the first content areas to meet.
NFDL Assessment
Fall Data Digs are almost all complete. These meetings are for grades K-12. We are asking the same questions and have the same outcomes in mind. We use data in our district to support and drive instruction.
***NFDL Data Point Worth Sharing = Last year, 74 of our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders scored Proficient or Advanced on the state assessment. When these same students were in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, 38 of them were Proficient or Advanced. That's almost a 100% increase in three years time!!!!*** The impossible is possible - believe it.

Short Educational Article - This one-page article from ASCD talks about intentional ways to build reading independence; applies to all grade levels - HERE.
We no longer focus on what we are teaching, our focus is on what students are learning.
- District Definition - Differentiation = Responding to Student Needs.
- District Definition - Data = Any Information About a Student.
Effectiveness Project - My Learning Plan
We believe in using instructionally sound practices to impact student learning, not to impact the Effectiveness Project. If we do this, our work in Frontline will take care of itself.
All uploads to Frontline should be PDFs. Google documents can be easily downloaded as PDFs (please ask if you don't know how to do this). Using PDFs eliminates any concerns accessing documents or sharing rights.
Upcoming Due Dates - click here for one-page due dates for the 2017-2018 school year

- Student Survey Growth Plan form in Frontline - due November 3rd
Click on the PDF below for a one-page guide to writing an effective survey or questionnaire. This could be helpful with your student or staff surveys.
