PIANO RECITAL - January 19th
Our group has grown to 31 students and everyone is making progress on many levels. I am very proud of them all; they are learning that practice has no substitute and being prepares for each lesson has its own reward. Your encouragement in helping them find 10-15 minutes in their busy schedules each day to practice is vital to their success. some of us still need reminders to bring their books to lessons. I have copies of most books, but not all! Thank you for your help to that department. If you see piano books in your house that you do not remember purchasing, please check to see if they might be mine - missing a few books! Thank you!
Ten of the students volunteered to play pre-service music for the TLS Christmas programs this past Saturday, and all did a good job. Most students were busy learning lesson material and others were not quite ready to play for such a large crowd.
The time for EVERYONE to participate will be at our first recital for the school year. Our Winter Recital will be on Sunday, January 19th at 2pm in the church sanctuary. Doors will be open a half hour before the recital. A dessert/punch reception will be held immediately following the recital. Parents are asked to bring a small plate of goodies!
In His grace,
Mrs. Kathy Gates
FOOD DRIVE
The Board of Elders have placed large food barrels to collect food on Trinity’s Campus as part of a larger Good Samaritan effort to directly support our Waukesha Food Pantry. From now until 1/5/20, please bring your non-perishable, non-expired food items, a complete list of items are on the barrels, to help feed our @1200 hungry neighbors who come to the Pantry every week. Our Savior Jesus has told us: “Love one another” (John 13:34). Will you help Trinity help our neighbors?
Thanks for your kind support and please share this opportunity with anyone. This Thanksgiving and Christmas, let’s thank God for all our blessings and connect with our community with Christian love.
