After School Program - Enroll on-line now!

Enrollment for the Mountainburg Boys and Girls Club After School program is available now using the link below. For $25 a year we provide a meal, a snack, and quality programming to students ages 5-18 every day that school is in session from 3:30-6:30.

Prayer Walk - August 7

Join the Mountainburg Ministerial Alliance on Wednesday, August 7 at 7:00 PM to walk the campuses and pray for the schools!

Open House - August 9

Each school will be holding Open House on Friday, August 9, 4:00-6:00. Pick up schedules, tour the campus, and meet the faculty and staff!

Community Tailgate - August 9

After Open House join everyone at the Old Rock Garage for hot dogs by Citizens Bank, and cookies, chips and drinks by our local churches. Visit Kona Ice to buy snowcones, or sign up for Little League cheer and football, the Mountainburg Boys and Girls Club, and many other clubs and activities.

School Lunches

Mountainburg Public School provides all students free breakfast and lunches through CEP. Guest breakfasts cost $3.00 and guest lunches cost $4.00. Menus are available on the web page. See the link below.

Immunization Reminders

In compliance with state immunization regulations, we have complied a list of required immunizations in hopes of giving you the needed time to obtain them & to avoid the rush that will surely occur in the weeks prior to school starting in the fall

Kindergarten students will require the following immunizations to start school.

1. DTP (DTAP/DT/TD) 4 doses

2. Polio 4 doses

3. MMR 2 doses

4. Hepatitis A 2 doses

5. Hepatitis B 3 doses

6. Varicella 2 doses or documentation from physician of disease (we cannot accept parents word as verification)

Students turning 11 years of age

1. Tdap Must have 1 dose at age 11. Children who will be 11 years of age or older on or before Sept. 1 of each school year will be required to receive a Tdap shot in order to attend public or private school in Arkansas.

Students turning 16 years of age

1. Meningococcal Must have 2nd dose at age 16.

Students with exemptions

1. Exemption Exemption form must be completed, notarized and then sent to the address listed on the form. When the new exemption arrives, please send it to school so a copy can be made for your child’s records.

Please bring or send the student’s updated record or exemptions to school so we may make a copy for our records after they have been obtained. The Health Department gives immunizations daily by appointment only. If you have not provided updated records 30 days after the start of the new term (September 12, 2019), your child will be excluded from school. Kindergarten students are also required to have a wellness check. If you have not provided records 90 days after the start of the term (November 11, 2019), your child will be excluded from school. Athletics - Parent Sign Off Forms

Each year, football parents and students are asked to review and sign-off on information related to injuries and medical issues that can be associated with football.

Forms available at the district webpage, see link below.

These need to be done and brought to Coach Harrell, Coach Nolen, or Coach Dean before school is out or bring it before practices start in August.

The Nolen/Harrell Fieldhouse will be open on Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Medical Care Reminder

Mountainburg Public Schools has a partnership with the Mountainburg Family Medical Clinic so WITH PARENT PERMISSION, if you are unable to pick up your student for medical care, we can take them to the clinic and they can be treated for no costs beyond insurance coverage.

Be sure and complete the medical consent permission slips if this service is desired.
